Special Yoga Workshops and Retreats
One day workshops or 2 days retreats are offered in this deeply relaxing and nurturing methodology of movement, mindfulness and breath work. Explore how yoga can be expressed standing, seated or lying down. Learn how to help individuals with physical challenges partake in this very special therapy.Explore them all yourself along with more traditional yoga movements for children as well as adults .Learn how to combine them with positive affirmations and enchanted yoga poses, playfulness and games to enhance mental flexibility, expansiveness and memory. Discover how all abilities, needs, ages and body shapes can be included within the practice of Yoga to bring relief, release and peace.
No previous experience necessary. This can purely be time out for yourself as part of self care and nurture or it can be learned as beneficial techniques to help family and friends, or as additional layers of knowledge and methods to bring to existing therapies, in a relaxed, peaceful and practical day.
Workshops can be centred around specific needs and abilities such as autism and ADHD as well as other different abilities and needs, particularly mental health challenges.
2 Day Retreats
The 2 day retreat is truly blissful time out, with lots of time taken with exploring the self and with self care. This allows us to then provide the best level of care to those in our families, schools or clientele. Topics from the 1 day workshop are explored in more depth and a greater range of movement, mindfulness and breath work is shared.
Please do contact me if you would like a workshop centred around a particular need or group.
